Colombo Pride 2008
EQUAL GROUND is proud to announce the dates and programme for Colombo PRIDE 2008. The dates are the 29th June -06th July 2008. Here’s what we have in store for you so far:
29th June: I have a Dream! – a drag show with a different twist (the content will be a well kept Colombo secret until the last minute!!) Entrance by Ticket
30th June -03rd July: Rainbow Visions – The first LGBT Art and Photo Exhibition. Entrance FREE
1st – 3rd July: Celluloid Rainbows – LGBT film festival. Entrance FREE
04th July: Rainbow PRIDE – the Annual PRIDE Party. Entrance by Ticket
05th July: An unashamed claim to beauty in the face of invisibility by Sins Invalid – a San Francisco based performance group that addresses sexuality and disability through the performing arts. Entrance FREE
06th July: Rainbow Kite Festival – come fly with us on the beach at Mt. Lavinia! Entrance FREE
Tickets and box plan for I have a Dream! will be available at the EQUAL GROUND office in June. Tickets for Rainbow Pride will also be available at EQUAL GROUND and at all other PRIDE events leading up to the party.
Please note: Members wishing to exercise their right to free tickets, as per their membership category, can only do so before the event and NOT at the venue. Membership cards will have to be produced for identification at the venue as well.
